Aviation Weather by GADSoftware provides a graphical view of an entire region's weather conditions. Current conditions can be determined at a single glance (i.e. VFR, MFR, IFR, LIFR are obvious using unique symbols and color coding in the map display). METAR's and TAF information can quickly be displayed for each airport. Favorites provide an easy way to jump from region to region. The application is configurable, enabling the display to show airports using the default Google maps display or the satellite view. Wind speed can be displayed using wind barbs. Metar and TAF information can be displayed as either encoded or decoded. Date/time can be configured to show either UTC (zulu) or local time.
